Hello everyone welcome to my blog! My name is Skylar Pineda I am a senior at Benedictine University, majoring in Communication and minoring in Marketing. Within my four years at Benedictine, I am currently a part of the Softball team. As well as an OL (orientation leader). I have some experience with social media as I run the Benedictine softball social media accounts. I am super excited to be a part of this class and learn more about social media marketing the roots of everything!

Finding and applying for a job may be the hardest part of being an adult. It so many feelings in one when turning in a resume. From rejection letters to awkward interviews, finding the idealize work is upsetting, to say the slightest. It can be overpowering, to the point where your work-chasing process feels totally miserable. Lots of companies will have thousands of job applications but they look for the one thing a resume and if they don't see it you are left in the air to keep searching. There are pros and cons to job hunting especially starting at square one. This may be true off the bat when you're trying to find your first job or if you're changing careers. Several resources and websites can help assist you and direct you in the right way especially based on your resume and experience. Week 14 Different Audience on the Social Media Platform

Advertisements for a company have pros and cons, especially sharing their product throughout different social media platforms. As social media is evolving new apps are being created and advertisements continue to grow. There are steps before posting advertisements because they have to focus on the age range to send eye-grabbing Ads. Since Instagram and Facebook have been around for so long these are the most popular Advertisement apps since they were created. The growth of each app is that new age ranges join in the app. Facebook is an older user app and Instagram is a younger individual app where both advertisements need to be different on both ends.  In the graph shown above, younger individuals use Instagram, Twitch, and Snapchat. Whereas the older age range uses LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Reddit. The advertisements between each app are they will share what will attract the attention of the viewers.
