Week 3 The importance of visual editing

Image
Visuals are the eye candy of any social media platform. The importance of visuals is to attract the audience but also explain the post in a better understanding. As well as for social media apps such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook are very big image-posting apps, to show pictures of families, food, clothing, or vacation trips. As many say a picture is worth 1,000 words, so it helps us express and understand emotion. As time evolved Newspapers were huge as they were only words and no images before social media Magazines found their way and focused on more images than words.  For many businesses, images play a big role in presentations and data to show statics of how the company is doing over a long period. Week 2 Has Social media become a negative platform?

Over the last few decades, social media has made huge growth throughout society. As many may not know the growth of social media has hurt others' mental health, social skills, and physical and mental appearance. Different apps for example, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, etc. give people the ability to close off the real world and connect, and share through social media.  In 2022 research from Andrew Hutchinson, found that the most negative apps used on social media today are Reddit, Snapchat, and Instagram. With that being said, with the social media platforms continuing their growth it will only continue to get worse. People are now living through social media as they can communicate with others, online sh...

Week 1 Social Media Marketing Ads

Image
As social media has evolved over the decades, ads have evolved their way into different social media platforms based on the topics being shared. For example, when a person looks up shoes usually an ad from Nike or Adidas may come up on that individual's social media app. These companies are very well known but they continue to become popular by sharing ads throughout platforms for example YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc. PPC is also known as Pay-Per-Click. For a better explanation, businesses are being promoted on different social media platforms based on their audience. Once an individual clicks on their ad, they pay a fee to the host to continue advertising their product. PPC also allows them to either switch platforms for a different type of audience or completely opt out and find a different way to make more money if they are losing too much. As social media platforms evolve, businesses will find more ways to broadcast their ads to better the eyes of the audience.
